Clubs are a great way to meet other WI members and share a common interest.


Choir Every Monday at Flixton Girls’ School £12.50 per month by Direct Debit. New members welcome!

Do come along on the Tuesday’s even if you’ve not read the book, we have a very ‘social’ evening!

Craft Club Last Wednesday of the month 7 – 9pm at Lily’s Eden Square. Bring along your current project or ask about learning to knit or crochet.  Tea & cake usually eaten as well!!


Darts Club Darts club is taking a break for the summer & will re form in September. Fi has the information of the WI Darts
league so hopefully we can get a team together.
Please speak to Fi if you are interested  in joining in September.


Cinema Club Next Cinema trip to be announced


Afternoon Tea Club The next afternoon tea will be at Javes, Brook Road.

The cost of this event is £12.95 & full payment will be
needed by 4th October meeting.


Gin Club 11th October Prairie Schooner Taphouse. The Social Lites Gin Experts, Louise & Fi, have arranged a Gin Night for 11th October and will include 5 gins & pizza at PST. The cost is £25.00.

Allotment Gang

Allotment Gang We have been offered an allotment at Brook Road. No  xperience required just willing to do some (A LOT) of digging! If you are interested in joining the allotment team, please add your  name to the list at the events table.

Cobolt_magenta_and_lime_watercolour_print_emily_green_the_block_2Afternoon Club This is an afternoon group held at The Bird I’th Hand every second Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm. There is a charge of £2 per person attending this group to cover room hire. All Social Lites WI members are welcome to meet up with other members, arrange daytime events, such as cinema trips, walks, theatre trips or just meet up for a cuppa and a chat.

Tap Dancing Monday 6th November 8.15—9pm at Shawe Hall One off taster session funded from Sports Grant. Maximum of 20 people. £5 returnable deposit to be paid at October’s meeting.

Kayaking Sunday 15th October 12.30-1.30pm (arrive 12.15pm) Salford Quays. Numbers limited to 8. Wear Cozzie, & old trainers & take a towel. Wetsuit will be provided. £5 returnable deposit to be paid at October’s meeting.

Jewellery Workshop
We have 3 Jewellery Workshops confirmed for 15th October (1.30pm), 22nd October (1.30pm) & 3rd November (6.30pm). The workshop will be held at The Croft at St Michaels Church. Maximum of 5 people per session. Cost of the session is £38.50.

Christmas Wreath Workshop
Thursday 30th November at Humphrey Park Community Centre. £10 per person NON REFUNDABLE  Please pay in full at October meeting. Please note this workshop is for a maximum of 20 people.
